I’m an award winning photojournalist, fashion photographer, graphic designer, video editor, producer, and director. My credits include, “Dan Rather: Courage Under Fire”, a finalist in the Manhattan Film Festival as a producer, director, and editor. I’ve won 3 Telly awards for my work with Mission Federal Credit Union while a director/ cameraman/ editor at Cox Media/ San Diego.
A physics major at University of California/San Diego, I switched majors and ended up majoring in photojournalism at SDSU.
I left school to work at a small newspaper. From there, he spent several years as a photojournalist working for daily newspapers, the Associated Press and United Press International as well as French news photo agency Gamma Liaison and German magazine Bunte.
As a fashion photographer, I was published in Spin, Detour, Details magazines as well as Russian Vogue.
At Cox Media/ San Diego, I worked as producer/director/cameraman/editor/sound mixer and wrote the spots for air. At Wealth TV, one of the first networks to broadcast exclusive in HD,I edited 30 and 60 minute TV shows as well as promos.
My clients include the US Marine Corps, Junior League of San Diego, Cox Media, Karl Storz, EcoATM and other corporations.
I started off old school: shooting film and working in the darkroom. Eventually, I ended up in video production and post-production. It has been a long and winding road, but a lot of fun.
